Astor Theatre, Deal, 21st October 2006

The night that Brian and Cathryn came to the Astor Theatre was one of the worst nights weatherwise that you could experience... monsoon rains and a dazzling overhead lightning show courtesy of mother nature. This went a long way to explaining the small audience that gathered to be royally entertained. It wasn't the type of night for the faint hearted music goer to make the effort and venture out of doors !

Despite this, a very glamorous Cathryn, and extremely dapper Brian gave a first class performance, bravely battling on through PA problems and a lightning strike that momentarily blew the electrics.

The set list included a good mix of old favourites and newer material, ending with a special request encore of "The Snake".

The audience may have been small, and the weather foul, but the atmosphere created inside the theatre made all those present forget about everything else except the excellent performance delivered on stage.
